The horse from Arabia to Royal Ascot

There is currently a fascinating exhibition called The horse from Arabia to Royal Ascot at The British Museum. The exhibition which focuses on two breeds - Arabians and Thoroughbreds, will be on until 30th September. There are both modern and ancient objects on display from depictions of horses in stone reliefs and paintings, beautiful gold, silver and clay models and intriguing styles of horse tack and armor. This exhibition is free and well worth a look. Below are some examples of what you will see display.
