My friends bought me a book called The Printed Square which features a range of beautiful handkerchiefs worn through the 1920s-1950s. The vintage handkerchiefs are currently on display at the Fashion and Textiles museum and well worth a look. The colours and patterns within this book inspired the author Nicky Albrchtsen alongside the in-house Oasis design team to rework a selection of patterns into modern prints to form a limited edition Scarf Collection of silk separates from skirts-shorts, tops-trousers.
