It was recently my birthday and my friend very kindly made me a surprise birthday cake. The cake was a victoria sponge and decorated with edible flowers and butterflies. She also piled strawberries dipped in white and milk chocolate on top. The strawberries tasted really good. The miniature cupcakes around the egde were also adorable. Needless to say the cake didn't last very long although admittedly I had reserved thoughts about eating anything because I didn't want to spoil it!
