Here are some designs I have created using plastics. I manipulated the plastics by bending, melting and cutting them. I made a series of miniature samples and mixed them with homemade papers. I used coloured plastics but also died them using disperse dyes and the heat press. Then I took photographs of them and messed about with these photos on photoshop to create repeat patterns.
